About Erb Electric

Established in 1932, Erb Electric is the oldest and most diversified electrical contracting firm in the Tri-State area (Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania). When you work with Erb Electric you are choosing a team that has a combined experience of over 110 years.

Started by the Erb family of Wheeling, West Virginia, Erb Electric first began by serving the Wheeling area. Our base of operations moved to Bridgeport, Ohio in the early nineties. Since its inception, our company has expanded into offering a wide array of services to the region of the Ohio Valley.

We are proud to have a professional staff that can take a project from conception to completion. We have invested heavily in upgrading our equipment and facilities, plus requiring ongoing personnel training in existing and emerging electrical technologies, to stay at the forefront of today’s demanding and evolving electrical needs. Erb Electric is small enough to cover individual clients needs, but large enough to be at the forefront of our industry.

Generator Installation

WHAT'S INVOLVED IN INSTALLING A HOME BACKUP GENERATOR?

Installing a home backup generator is an exciting time. Erb Electric will prepare the installation site outside your home, place the generator, run the natural gas or LP fuel line, install the transfer switch, and make all of the necessary electrical connections. And we will make sure that your backup generator runs properly, and is ready for its first power outage.

Generator Repair & Warranty

You invested in a Generac automatic home backup generator, and now you're never without power. But just like a car, air-cooled backup generators need to be properly maintained to perform as intended. We recommend you have your unit serviced every 6 months. Our factory-trained technicians are available to handle all your Generac servicing needs.
